Sugar Bears, 2006

Objects: modified, stuffed teddy bears with various layers of paint, plaster, and sugar. Placed on polystyrene shelves covered in sugar. Various sizes.

In this installation, sugar are spreading like a virus on the objects and toys we surround ourselves with. The usually soft teddy bear has now lost its functionality and it's becoming melted, dusty, dead, and unpersonal at the same time.
